Isaac and Rebekah sent Jacob to Rebekah’s brother Laban to find a wife. Laban tricked Jacob by giving him Leah to marry first, but Jacob worked another seven years to marry Rachel, too. God blessed Jacob with many children.

Life at home would be a lot more peaceful and nice, wouldn’t it? Families that follow God and love each other are also an example to others! People who know you and your family but don’t know Jesus will notice that you are different from them. Then they may want to know why you are different, and that can lead to an opportunity to talk to them about Jesus!

Let’s ask for God’s help to love our families and do what is right at home. When we do that, we are pleasing God, and he can bless us. We may even get a chance to share about Jesus to friends or family members who don’t know him.
